Concentration Camp - 1962
Gate decorated with "Jedem Das Seine" (To Each As He Deserves)
concentration camp's entrance was adorned with some sort of sardonic slogan.
For a period after
camp was liberated in 1945 by the US Third Army Gen. Patton had the former
prisoners confined in the
barracks they'd occupied under the Nazis. While most of the buildings
were eventually demolished
including the main entrance and the crematorium, were preserved as a museum.
